If you’re anything like me, you’ll have dabbled with a few variations of skin care ranges. Convinced that celebs have skin as gorgeous as they do by using Clarins or Clinique? (Maybe) but we don’t have daily photoshop, stylists, make up artists and so on like they do to show off their ever radiant beaming smiles and glowing faces. It has to be said, and everyone should know, its not a con, you are what you eat so 90% of how incredible you want your skin to look, is down to how you take care of it with diet and excercise. (Yes excercise helps improve skin cell growth and circulation so its a definate must), but as far as skin care ranges go, having tried and tested quite a few of the said to be reputable ones, knowing the ingredients that go into these products have helped me see why they are perhaps NOT so good for your skin.

Skin is the most delicate, fragile organ of the human body. It is daily subjected to a huge aray of severe pollution, aggression, petropharmaceuticle applications and for those of you with terrible diets, the list could go on. The skin protects all our other body organs from external damage, so it should be as best taken care of as is possible, right? Well, ever considered that instead of lathering layers of damaging chemical products all over your face to look glowy, maybe the use of simple organic plant and flower based products might actually do that instantly, and for very little cost?

Neal’s yard has been something I have been meaning to try for a while, but all the bigger high street names with huge advertizing budgets won me over with their glitzy new product campaigns..(shame on me!), but last month I decided to give their rose facial wash and daily skin brightener a try. The results, almost instantly showed a huge improvement on natural shine, flawless cover and blemish free. Not only that but the daily brightening cream has reduced some pigmentation patches I had on my forehead due to mild sun damage.

So, the verdict is in and ORGANIC Neals yard is an absoloute winner! and FYI, Gwyneth Paltrow and a huge list of glowy skinned celebs all use organic, chemical free based products (maybe slightly more expensive ones ) but just because celebs feature on mass produced high street brand ad’s doesn’t mean those products are how they get their incredible skin.
